Will my card still work?
Yes, that's the entire design brief. Every Sweave skin is cut to leave the working parts of your card clear: the chip, the contactless area, the magnetic stripe, the signature panel and any network hologram. You tap, insert, swipe and sign exactly as before.
No. Both stay uncovered by design. A skin that blocked either would defeat the point of a skin.
Yes, and no. The vinyl is made to lift away cleanly, with no residue, whenever you want a change.
The skin sits on the surface and leaves every functional zone clear, so it doesn't affect how the card works. That said, your card is issued by your bank, and their terms are theirs. If you want certainty, check with your issuer first. You apply a Sweave skin at your own discretion.
Privacy & protection
It covers the sensitive details printed on the front of your card, your card number and expiry, so they're not on show every time you pay or hand it over. It's visual privacy: fewer eyes on your numbers.
It adds a thin vinyl layer over the printed surface, which takes the day-to-day scuffing your card would otherwise wear itself. It protects the finish, it isn't armour.
Fit & card types
If yours is a standard debit or credit card, yes. The catalogue is cut to standard card dimensions.
It does. Skins sit best on flat-printed cards. On embossed cards, the ones with raised numbers you can feel, vinyl has to stretch over the ridges, so it can lift or crack at the edges over time. If your card is embossed, a full-cover skin isn't the right fit; a partial design that works around the raised numbers will hold far better.

You do. Sweave skins are made to apply yourself, no appointment, no waiting. Each one ships ready to line up and press on.
No. Line it up, press from the centre outward, smooth the edges. Take your time on the first one and it'll sit clean.
